Zek

Zek is the aging Grand Nagus of the Ferengi Alliance, introduced in Deep Space Nine and played by Wallace Shawn. Sharp-witted, cunning and famously greedy, he rules over Ferengi commerce and uses his authority to guide business on the station.
He has a long history with Quark and the other Ferengi, and he is often drawn into moves for profit and influence. He undergoes major changes in his life, including a personal relationship with Quark's mother Ishka, who challenges traditional Ferengi beliefs, and he eventually chooses a surprising successor in Rom. Despite his harshness, he displays moments of generosity.
Zek endures as a delightful rogue. His blend of comedy, wisdom and mischief made him one of the most entertaining recurring characters of the show.
