La Sirena was a privately owned starship operated by Cristóbal Rios, a former Starfleet officer, in 2399. Its systems included a set of emergency holograms, each modelled on Rios himself, which handled duties ranging from medicine and engineering to tactical support and hospitality.
That year Jean-Luc Picard hired Rios and La Sirena to carry him beyond Federation space in search of Soji Asha, the synthetic twin of Dahj. Raffi Musiker, Agnes Jurati and the Romulan warrior Elnor joined the crew, and the voyage took them to Freecloud, the Borg Artifact and finally Coppelius, where La Sirena faced a Romulan armada.
In 2401 La Sirena carried Picard and his companions back in time to 2024 by slingshotting around a star, in an effort to undo an altered timeline created by Q. Rios chose to remain in the 21st century once the mission was over.
