A former Starfleet officer and pilot.
Cristobal Rios is the captain of La Sirena, a ship that carries Jean-Luc Picard and his companions through the first season of Star Trek: Picard. He is a rough and charming pilot with a history in Starfleet, and he is accompanied by a series of holographic crew members who all share his face.
His story is shaped by a tragic incident from his Starfleet past that left him with lasting guilt. In the first season he reluctantly assists Picard, and in the second season he is a central figure in a journey to Earth's past, where he meets a woman who captures his heart. His relationships with Agnes Jurati and Raffi Musiker give the crew a lively, bickering family dynamic.
Rios is remembered as a cynical and kind-hearted rogue whose charisma and sadness make him a vivid presence in Picard.
