The 2399 death of cyberneticist Bruce Maddox, killed aboard La Sirena by Agnes Jurati after a Zhat Vash agent showed her the Admonition.
Bruce Maddox, the scientist behind Data's synthetic daughters, had gone into hiding after the synthetic ban. In 2399 he fell into the hands of the crime boss Bjayzl on Freecloud, and Picard's crew rescued him and brought him aboard La Sirena.
There Agnes Jurati, his former colleague, killed him. Before the mission Commodore Oh had mind-melded with Jurati and shown her the Admonition, a vision of synthetic life destroying organic civilization. Haunted by it, Jurati came to believe that stopping Maddox's work was the only way to prevent that future.
