The Queen and Soong attack La Sirena and the Picard estate, Picard faces his mother's death, and Jurati becomes a new, peaceful Borg Queen.
The Queen, Soong and the new drones board La Sirena, while Picard, Tallinn, Raffi and Seven beam to the Picard estate. Jurati keeps the Queen out of the ship's systems until Seven and Raffi arrive, but Seven is mortally wounded.
Picard and Tallinn escape through tunnels beneath the house, where Picard remembers playing hide-and-seek with his mother during her breakdown, and finally talks about her suicide. Rios returns to drive Soong off. Jurati persuades the Queen to build a collective based on cooperation, becoming a new Queen. She saves Seven, leaves for the Delta Quadrant and tells Picard there must be two Renées, one to fly and one to die. Michael Weaver directed.
