The final chapter of the Dominion War reaches its climax, and the station's crew faces farewells and new beginnings.
The conclusion of the series finale sees Kira, Garak and Damar storm the Dominion headquarters on Cardassia, where Damar and Weyoun die and the Female Changeling is captured. She refuses to surrender until Odo links with her and cures her of the disease, and she then ends the war, agreeing to stand trial. The crew celebrates at Vic's.
On Bajor, Kai Winn poisons Dukat as a sacrifice, but the Pah-wraiths resurrect him instead. Sisko is drawn to the Fire Caves, where Dukat kills Winn, and Sisko throws himself, Dukat and the Book of the Kosst Amojan into the flames. Sisko awakens with the Prophets, and tells Kasidy in a vision he will return one day. The crew goes their separate ways: O'Brien to the Academy, Worf as ambassador to the Klingons, and Odo to the Great Link. Kira, now commanding the station, watches the wormhole with Jake.
