Borg drone with 29th-century technology, born from a transporter accident, who sacrificed himself to keep the Collective from claiming him.
One was a Borg drone created when a transporter accident fused the Doctor's 29th-century mobile emitter with Seven of Nine's nanoprobes and the DNA of a crewman. Growing from infancy to adulthood in hours, he was more advanced than any normal drone. Seven of Nine became his mentor and gave him his name, and he quickly developed a gentle, curious individuality.
In Drone, a Borg sphere came after him. One defeated the sphere and, knowing the Collective would keep pursuing him, refused medical treatment for his injuries and died. He was played by J. Paul Boehmer.
