Spock wakes in an alternate reality set to marry Chapel and must undo an illusion made by an extradimensional being.

Three months after the conflict with the Gorn, the Enterprise is being repaired at Starbase One while the crew prepares for the Federation's centennial. Chapel returns with Roger Korby as her new partner, to Spock's quiet disappointment. After accepting a drink from an unfamiliar Vulcan bartender, Spock wakes in an altered reality in which he is about to marry Chapel, and the same stranger reappears as an Andorian wedding planner.
Korby realizes something is wrong and helps Spock recover his memories, and Chapel regains hers when Spock recites a poem Korby once read to her. The crew confronts the planner, a childlike extradimensional being, and reality returns to normal, though Ortegas is still struggling after her ordeal with the Gorn. The romantic comedy follows the grim season opener and revisits the Spock and Chapel romance that ended in the second season, now complicated by Korby, Chapel's fiance in the original series. Jordan Canning directed.
