Kira's team steals a Breen weapon for Damar's rebellion, while Worf confronts Gowron over his reckless war plans.
Kira, Odo and Garak help Damar's rebels plan the theft of a ship carrying the Breen energy-dampening weapon. Damar learns the Dominion has executed his family, and Kira reminds him that Cardassians did the same to Bajorans. The raid succeeds, though Odo's illness worsens, and Damar kills his second-in-command Rusot rather than let him murder Kira, choosing a new future for Cardassia.
Gowron keeps sending Martok on suicidal attacks to weaken a political rival. Prompted by Ezri, Worf challenges Gowron, kills him in combat and hands the chancellorship to Martok. O'Brien suggests that Bashir announce a false cure for the Changeling disease to lure Section 31.
