A former Borg drone who joins Voyager.
Icheb is a young Borg drone who appears in Star Trek: Voyager. He is rescued from the Collective by Voyager's crew, along with a group of other children, and he is taken in by the ship while Seven of Nine helps guide him in readjusting to individuality.
Icheb is a bright, eager and slightly awkward young man, and he forms a close bond with Seven, who becomes a mentor and a sort of older sister. He learns about human life and works hard to be a good student, with a particular interest in science and engineering. He eventually joins Starfleet, and he appears again in Star Trek: Picard, where he meets a tragic end that deeply affects Seven.
Icheb is remembered as a gentle, hopeful figure, and his journey from a drone to an individual shows the potential for change in even the most unlikely places.
