Collective

Chakotay, Paris, Kim, and Neelix are in a shuttle that is attacked by a Borg cube, and they find that it is controlled by a group of Borg children. The crew has to work out how to deal with the young drones, who have been separated from the Collective.
The episode introduces a group of young former Borg, including Icheb, who would become a recurring character. It is a story about caring for children who have been through a trauma and about the responsibility of the crew to help them.
