Q Junior is the son of Q and a female member of the Continuum, conceived in The Q and the Grey to end a civil war among the Q. Kathryn Janeway was named his godmother.
In Q2, Q brought the boy, now with the appearance of a teenager and played by Keegan de Lancie, to Voyager after his reckless pranks threatened the Continuum, which planned to turn him into an amoeba. Stripped of his powers, he caused trouble aboard, befriended Icheb and endangered him by stealing the Delta Flyer. Learning to take responsibility, he earned another chance from the Continuum.
