Con artists posing as Janeway and Tuvok swindle a mining colony, and the real crew set out to catch them.
Two con artists posing as Captain Janeway and Tuvok cheat a mining colony out of valuable bolomite, using knowledge they took from Voyager's crew. When the angry miners complain, the real Janeway learns that the thieves, Dala and Mobar, met Neelix and Tom Paris earlier and, posing as a nun and her companion, sold Neelix a faulty part while secretly copying the ship's records.
Voyager catches up with the impostors during another scam and captures Dala, but she escapes in the Delta Flyer. Her flight is part of Janeway's plan, since Paris and the Doctor are hidden aboard. When she reaches her partners at their hideout, the Doctor, disguised as Dala with his mobile emitter, turns the tables, and the real Tuvok captures the gang. Voyager returns the stolen goods to their owners. The sixth-season episode is a light caper about identity, in which the crew's own reputation is used against them.
