A con artist who impersonated Kathryn Janeway to cheat Delta Quadrant traders, using information stolen from Voyager's crew.
Dala is a swindler who, in Live Fast and Prosper, poses as Captain Janeway alongside her partner Mobar as Tuvok. Earlier, disguised as a nun, she befriended Neelix and Tom Paris and gained access to the Delta Flyer, downloading information about Voyager. The pair then trade on Voyager's good reputation, cheating miners and others.
After tracking the impostors down, Janeway captures Dala and lets her escape aboard the Delta Flyer, which Paris and the Doctor have secretly boarded. The trap leads Voyager to the gang's hideout and their stolen goods.
