The Enterprise's first officer under Captain Pike.
Una Chin-Riley is the first officer of the USS Enterprise under Captain Pike, appearing in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and earlier glimpsed as Number One. Played by Rebecca Romijn, she is disciplined, calm and a gifted tactician, and she is one of Pike's most trusted friends.
She is also hiding a secret. As an Illyrian, she carries genetic modifications that are illegal under Federation law, and her exposure leads to her arrest and trial. With the support of her crewmates, who rally to defend her, she is eventually allowed to return to service. Her story explores questions about identity, prejudice and loyalty in Starfleet, while her relationship with Ethan Peck's Spock and the rest of the crew shapes the show's emotional core.
Una endures as a pioneering officer whose integrity and courage make her a central figure in the ship's story.
