Outlaw courier who, with her Breen partner L'ak, raced Discovery for the Progenitors' technology in the final season.
Moll, played by Eve Harlow, is a courier and thief in the 32nd century. Her father was a courier who mentored Cleveland Booker, which gives her a personal link to Book and a lasting resentment toward him.
In Discovery's fifth season Moll and her partner L'ak steal a clue to the Progenitors' ancient technology and find themselves racing the USS Discovery to find the rest. L'ak is badly hurt during one of their clashes with Starfleet and dies after being taken into custody, and Moll blames Michael Burnham for his death. Driven by grief, she allies herself with the Breen, hoping the Progenitors' power can bring him back. As the season ends she gives up that hope, and Book helps her find a different path.
Moll is the main human antagonist of Discovery's final season, but the series treats her with sympathy. Her story of loss and revenge parallels the season's broader themes of grief and second chances.
