The Breen state of the 32nd century, torn by a succession struggle in Star Trek: Discovery's fifth season.
The Breen Imperium is the form the Breen state has taken by the 32nd century, as seen in Discovery's final season. It is a formidable military power whose dreadnoughts are feared across the galaxy, but it is divided by rival factions competing to lead it.
Primarch Ruhn commands a powerful faction until he is killed by Moll, who takes control of his forces in the hope of reviving her partner L'ak, a member of the Breen royal family. Their rivalry threatens Discovery's search for the Progenitors' technology.
