The Vulcan High Command sends T'Pol to capture a rogue agent she failed to catch years earlier, and she asks Archer to come along.
The Vulcan High Command reactivates T'Pol to capture Menos, a rogue Vulcan agent and the last of six fugitives she was once assigned to bring in. T'Pol asks Archer to accompany her because she needs someone she trusts, and Mayweather pilots their shuttlepod.
They track Menos to an icy moon, where he claims he is innocent and dying, and T'Pol begins to doubt her mission. Suppressed memories of killing an earlier fugitive resurface. In the end they find proof that Menos was smuggling biotoxins. Meanwhile Tucker runs Enterprise in Archer's absence and must bluff a visiting Vulcan ship. Bruce Davison plays Menos. The episode was directed by David Livingston.
