Sisko's crew crashes on a planet alongside stranded Jem'Hadar, while Kira realizes she has become a collaborator on the occupied station.
Sisko's crew crash-lands their captured Jem'Hadar ship on a barren world, where a Jem'Hadar unit and its badly wounded Vorta, Keevan, are also stranded and running short of ketracel-white. Keevan trades Garak and Nog for medical help from Bashir, then secretly offers Sisko the Jem'Hadar battle plan in exchange for his own safe surrender.
Sisko warns the Jem'Hadar commander, Remata'Klan, of the betrayal, but he chooses to stay loyal to the order of things and leads his men to their deaths. On the station, Kira comes to see her cooperation with the Dominion as collaboration, the same thing she once despised under the Cardassians, and resolves to resist.
