An away team cataloguing a dead collector's estate is caught by its automated defenses, while a transporter accident on the Titan creates a duplicate Boimler.
The Cerritos is sent to help Collector Siggi catalogue the estate of a deceased collector. The away team includes Mariner, Tendi, Rutherford, the new Tamarian security chief Kayshon, and Jet Manhaver, who has taken Boimler's old post. When Siggi steals a rare mask, the collection's automated defenses activate and turn Kayshon into a rag doll, and the team escapes only after Mariner and Jet stop clashing and let Tendi and Rutherford lead. Freeman, accused of micromanaging, tries to stop checking in.
On the USS Titan, a transporter accident duplicates Boimler. The copy, who takes the name William, stays on the Titan, and the original Boimler returns to the Cerritos.
