Vadic's warship the Shrike demands Jack Crusher, Picard realizes Jack is his son, and Worf is revealed as Raffi's handler.
The warship Shrike, commanded by the mercenary Vadic, seizes the Eleos, and Seven persuades Shaw to intervene. Vadic claims Jack is a wanted criminal, and Shaw arrests him, planning to hand him over to protect the Titan.
Raffi tracks the Ferengi criminal Sneed, who nearly kills her before her mysterious handler steps in: Worf. When Beverly recovers, Picard realizes that Jack is his son, born after a brief relationship with her years earlier. Knowing Picard will never give him up, Shaw orders the Titan into a nearby nebula with the Shrike in pursuit. Doug Aarniokoski directed.
