A human woman rescued and kept by the Talosians, who tempted Christopher Pike with illusions and later shared his life on Talos IV.
Vina was the only survivor of a survey expedition that crashed on Talos IV. The Talosians saved her life, but having never seen a human before, they rebuilt her body imperfectly. They use illusions to make her appear young and beautiful, and they present her to Christopher Pike as a mate when they capture him.
Pike resists every illusion and wins his freedom, while Vina chooses to stay. Years later, after Pike is crippled, Spock takes him back to Talos IV, where the Talosians allow him to live out his life with Vina in illusion. She was played by Susan Oliver.
