Vash

Vash is an archaeologist and adventurer who first appears in The Next Generation episode Captain's Holiday, played by Jennifer Hetrick. Bold, clever and always ready for the next treasure, she becomes a romantic interest for Captain Picard and one of the few people who can charm him out of his reserve.
Her adventures take her across the galaxy as she pursues artifacts and unusual deals. She crosses paths with Q, who takes an interest in her and brings her along for his own mischievous purposes, and she makes a notable appearance in a Deep Space Nine episode in which she attempts to sell valuable items. She is portrayed as resourceful, witty and a little unscrupulous, with a fondness for risk that complements Picard's more cautious nature.
Vash endures as a dashing rogue. Her wit and independence make her one of the franchise's most memorable guest characters.
