Zhat Vash agent and sister of Narek who posed as a Starfleet security officer on the Artifact and murdered Hugh.
Narissa, played by Peyton List, is a Romulan operative of the Zhat Vash and the sister of Narek. Aboard the Artifact, the derelict Borg cube used by the Romulans, she poses as Lieutenant Rizzo, a human officer of Starfleet Security, while working for the Zhat Vash.
Narissa directs her brother's mission against Soji Asha and reports to Commodore Oh. She is raised partly by Ramdha, a fellow Zhat Vash sister whom she calls her aunt, who went mad after seeing the Admonition. When Picard and his allies reach the Artifact, Narissa kills Hugh and tries to stop the former drones from escaping. She then ejects many of the former drones into space, and Seven of Nine confronts her and kills her by kicking her off a ledge inside the Artifact.
Narissa is one of the main antagonists of Picard's first season. Her ruthlessness contrasts with her brother's more uncertain loyalties.
