Xenophobic leader of Terra Prime who seized a Martian array in 2155 and threatened Starfleet Command to drive aliens from Earth.
John Frederick Paxton led Terra Prime, a human isolationist movement opposed to aliens on Earth. Played by Peter Weller, he arranged for a child to be created from the DNA of T'Pol and Trip Tucker, intending to use the hybrid as proof that alien contact would corrupt humanity.
In Demons and Terra Prime, he took over the Verteron array on Mars, held T'Pol and Tucker captive, and threatened to destroy Starfleet Command unless all aliens left Earth. Archer's team stopped him and he was arrested, but the child, Elizabeth, died. His defeat helped clear the way for the Coalition of Planets.
