A militant human supremacist movement that demanded all aliens leave Earth and threatened Starfleet Command from a captured array on Mars.
Terra Prime was a xenophobic human movement active in the mid-22nd century, opposed to Earth's growing ties with alien powers in the years before the Federation's founding. It drew on fears stirred up by the Xindi attack and the presence of alien diplomats on Earth.
Its leader John Frederick Paxton secretly obtained DNA from Trip Tucker and T'Pol and used it to create a cloned human-Vulcan child, whom he intended to present as proof that interspecies unions would corrupt humanity. In 2155 Terra Prime seized a verteron array on Mars and threatened to fire it at Starfleet Command unless every alien left Earth.
Captain Archer and an away team infiltrated the facility and stopped the attack, and Paxton was arrested. The cloned child, named Elizabeth, could not be saved. Archer then gave a speech at the coalition talks calling for unity, and the crisis became a cautionary episode in the history leading to the Federation.
