Travis Mayweather's former girlfriend, a reporter who is secretly a Starfleet Intelligence agent investigating Terra Prime.
Gannet Brooks is a journalist and Travis Mayweather's ex-girlfriend. In Demons, Mayweather gives her a tour of Enterprise as the ship returns to Earth for talks on a coalition of planets, while the anti-alien movement Terra Prime plots in secret.
Her reporting puts her close to the crisis as Terra Prime reveals that it holds a human-Vulcan child, and in Terra Prime she comes under suspicion of sympathising with John Frederick Paxton's movement and is detained.
She is revealed instead to be a Starfleet Intelligence agent who had been posing as a Terra Prime sympathiser to watch the group. Her cover is lifted once the danger has passed, and Brooks and Mayweather reconcile by the end of the story. She was played by Johanna Watts.
