The Minosians were the inhabitants of Minos, a world that made its fortune as an arms dealer, selling advanced weaponry to both sides in nearby conflicts.
In The Arsenal of Freedom, the Enterprise found Minos empty of life except for a holographic salesman still demonstrating the planet's products. An automated weapon system, able to learn and adapt with every attack, had destroyed the Minosians themselves along with the USS Drake. Picard eventually shut it down by agreeing to buy it, ending the demonstration.
