The Enterprise-D crew destroys the Borg cube hidden in Jupiter, Picard frees Jack, and a year later the Titan is renamed Enterprise-G under Seven.
The Enterprise-D finds the Borg Queen's cube in Jupiter's clouds as the assimilated fleet destroys Earth's defenses. Picard, Riker and Worf board the cube, and Picard links to the collective to bring Jack back. Data flies the Enterprise-D through the cube to recover them, and its destruction kills the Queen and frees the assimilated officers.
Beverly devises a way to strip the Borg changes from Starfleet's crews and expose remaining Changelings. A year later the Titan is renamed the USS Enterprise-G under Captain Seven of Nine, with Raffi as first officer and Jack as an ensign. The old crew shares a final card game, and Q appears to Jack. Terry Matalas wrote and directed the series finale.
