Picard fights thieves on the Enterprise during a baryon sweep.
The Enterprise docks at a station for a baryon sweep, a process lethal to anyone aboard, and the crew evacuates to a base on Arkaria. Picard goes back to the ship to fetch his saddle and finds a gang of thieves who plan to steal trilithium resin, a substance that can be made into a weapon.
Pretending to be a barber, Picard works alone against the thieves on the empty ship while the sweep moves closer. Meanwhile, the rest of the senior staff are taken hostage by mercenaries at the base. Picard defeats the gang, and the thieves' leader is killed when the stolen resin explodes.
