Zero seeks a new body on Ovidia IV, where a deadly ritual looms, while Janeway hunts for the real Gwyn.
Zero hears from Ion, another Medusan, who offers them a new body, and the group detours to Ovidia IV, where noncorporeal beings can take on physical forms that touch, smell and taste. Zero joins the Feast of Senses, but Dal and Gwyn learn that such bodies degrade away from the planet and that Zero is about to take part in the dangerous Running of the Nazamon.
Zero rescues Dal from the creature and decides to leave. Meanwhile Janeway, the Doctor and Tysses uncover the holographic impostors and set out to find the real Gwyn. The title reverses that of the original series episode Is There in Truth No Beauty? Keith Sweet II wrote the episode.
