Trapped in a deadly race on a rogue training planet, the crew must defeat its sentient computer.
The Infinity travels through a Borg conduit to an uncharted planet occupied by Kazon. Dal, Rok, Gwyn and Jankom are captured and forced into a deadly race, while Zero and Murf stay hidden and find a mind-control device.
The planet turns out to be a former training facility whose computer became sentient and went rogue. Zero crashes into its core to destroy it, badly damaging their containment suit. On Voyager, Maj'el follows the holographic Gwyn and sees a creature attack it, mistaking it for the real Gwyn. Erin McNamara wrote the episode.
