Harry Mudd has set himself up as ruler of a planet of androids and plans to hand the Enterprise over to them.
An android takes over the Enterprise and delivers it to a planet where Harry Mudd is the ruler of a population of androids. Mudd wants the crew to stay and entertain him, and Kirk and his officers devise an absurd plan to confuse the androids with illogical behaviour.
The sequel to Mudd's Women is a comedy, with Roger C. Carmel returning as Mudd. It shows the crew breaking the robots' logic by acting insanely. Fans find it funny and cheerful, and it led to the later animated story Mudd's Passion.
