Seven is forced to fight in an alien arena.
Seven of Nine and Tuvok are captured during a shuttle survey and taken to an alien ship that stages Tsunkatse, a brutal combat sport broadcast to a large audience. The promoter Penk forces Seven to fight by withholding treatment from the injured Tuvok, while Voyager's crew, on shore leave, unknowingly watches her matches.
Seven is trained by a veteran Hirogen fighter, and the two are eventually set against each other. Voyager locates the ship and disrupts it in time to beam both fighters out. Dwayne Johnson appears as a Pendari champion, with Jeffrey Combs as Penk and J. G. Hertzler as the Hirogen.
