The Diviner offers to free Tars Lamora's miners if the crew returns the Protostar, so they devise a plan.
The Drednok replica brings a message from the Diviner: he will free the miners of Tars Lamora if the crew gives back the Protostar. Despite Dal's reluctance, the crew returns to the colony and hands over the ship.
The Diviner destroys the colony's power source and leaves with Drednok and Gwyn, only to discover that the proto-star powering the ship's engine is missing. Murf swallowed it as part of the crew's plan, and the others prepare to restore power and escape with the miners. Ben Hibon directed the midseason two-parter.
