The crew frees the miners of Tars Lamora, the Diviner's plan to destroy Starfleet is revealed, and the Protostar sets off for Federation space.
The Protostar returns to Tars Lamora, and the crew destroys Drednok and restores power. The Diviner tells Gwyn he came from the future to stop his people's destruction in a civil war sparked by first contact with Starfleet, and that the ship carries a hidden weapon meant to destroy Starfleet.
