Agnes Jurati is a gifted cyberneticist who plays a prominent part in Star Trek: Picard. She first appears as a scientist who once worked with Bruce Maddox on synthetic life, and she joins Jean-Luc Picard's mission to find the truth about the synthetic attack on Mars and its fallout.
Her story takes a dark turn in the first season, when she makes a drastic and shocking choice to protect the mission. Guilt follows her into the second season, where she becomes entangled with the Borg Queen and the troubled history of Earth's past, and she is forced to confront what her actions have made of her. Her relationships with the crew of La Sirena, especially Cristobal Rios and Raffi Musiker, give her moments of warmth and humor.
