Ro Laren comes to arrest Picard and Riker, reveals the Changelings have infiltrated Starfleet, and sacrifices herself to stop a bomb.
Shaw contacts Starfleet, and the USS Intrepid arrives to arrest Picard and Riker. Its officer is Ro Laren, who had once betrayed Picard and Starfleet. On the holodeck she reveals her suspicion that Changelings have infiltrated Starfleet's highest ranks, and the two reconcile; she gives him her Bajoran earring.
Returning to the Intrepid, Ro finds a Changeling bomb on her shuttle and steers it into the Intrepid, dying in the blast and badly damaging the ship. Changelings try to beam Jack away, and his visions push him to kill them. The earring contains Ro's evidence and a communicator, and it links Picard to Worf, whose handler Ro had been. Dan Liu directed.
