Zobral, a desert leader with ulterior motives, invites Archer and Tucker to his world, leaving them stranded in a harsh desert.
After helping a damaged vessel, Archer and Tucker accept an invitation from its pilot, Zobral, to visit his desert planet. They enjoy his hospitality until Archer learns that Zobral leads a rebel group fighting the planet's rulers and hopes Archer will help their cause.
When the rulers attack the camp, Archer and Tucker are forced to flee across the desert on foot, suffering from heat and dehydration. T'Pol and the crew must find a way to locate and retrieve them while avoiding being drawn into the conflict. The episode was directed by David Straiton, with a teleplay by Andre Bormanis.
