Member of the Q Continuum imprisoned in a comet for wanting to end his own existence, who asked Voyager for asylum.
Quinn was a Q who had grown weary of omnipotent eternity and wanted to die, a desire the Continuum considered so dangerous that it imprisoned him inside a comet. In Death Wish, Voyager freed him by accident, and Q arrived to take him back. Played by Gerrit Graham, Quinn requested asylum, and Janeway held a hearing at which he called witnesses including William Riker and Isaac Newton.
Janeway ruled in his favor. Quinn became mortal, and Q gave him the means to end his life. His death set off a civil war within the Continuum.
