A greedy Zibalian collector who faked Data's death and kidnapped him to display as a prize piece in his private collection.
Kivas Fajo was a wealthy Zibalian trader who hoarded rare and unique objects. In The Most Toys he arranged an apparent shuttle explosion so the Enterprise-D crew would believe Data had been killed, while Data was actually taken aboard Fajo's ship, the Jovis, to join his collection.
Data refused to cooperate, and Fajo tried to force him with threats against his own staff. When his assistant Varria tried to help Data escape, Fajo killed her with an outlawed Varon-T disruptor. Data appeared ready to fire on Fajo before the Enterprise beamed him out. Fajo was arrested, and his collection was confiscated.
