The ship of the trader and collector Kivas Fajo, who abducted Data and faked his death to add him to the rare treasures kept aboard.
The Jovis was the vessel of Kivas Fajo, a wealthy trader who gathered rare and unique objects. In The Most Toys, Fajo supplied the Enterprise-D with a compound needed by a colony and used the deliveries to kidnap Data, rigging his shuttle to explode so the crew would believe him dead.
Aboard the Jovis, Fajo kept Data in his private gallery and tried to force him to perform for guests, threatening his assistant Varria to make Data comply. When Fajo killed Varria during an escape attempt, Data aimed a disruptor at him just as the Enterprise found the Jovis and beamed Data back.
