Varria was the long-serving assistant of the collector Kivas Fajo, who died after trying to help Data escape.
Varria worked for the Zibalian trader Kivas Fajo for many years in The Most Toys. When Fajo faked Data's death and took the android as part of his collection, Varria was the one who dealt with Data most closely, though she had grown tired of serving Fajo.
Fajo forced Data to cooperate by threatening to kill Varria with a Varon-T disruptor. Varria later tried to help Data escape, but Fajo caught them and shot her with the disruptor, killing her painfully. Her death pushed Data to the point of preparing to fire on Fajo himself. Jane Daly played her.
