Bajoran hologram who led photonic prey escaped from the Hirogen, and whose quest for freedom turned into a violent crusade.
Iden was a Bajoran hologram created by the Hirogen, who had used Voyager's holographic technology to build training programs with prey that could feel pain and die. Iden led a group of holograms that rebelled and killed their hunters, and in Flesh and Blood they abducted the Doctor and B'Elanna Torres to help them.
Iden came to see himself as a liberator of all holograms, and he grew increasingly fanatical as he planned a homeworld for his people. When he moved to execute the captured Hirogen leader, the Doctor fired on him and destroyed his program.
