Astrometrics is the advanced stellar mapping laboratory aboard Voyager, built by Seven of Nine and Harry Kim using a blend of Starfleet and Borg technology.
Seven of Nine and Harry Kim designed the lab to give Voyager a far better picture of the space ahead of it, combining Starfleet sensors with knowledge Seven brought from the Borg. Its large display could chart star systems, plot courses and track threats across wide stretches of the Delta Quadrant.
The lab became Seven's main workplace aboard the ship. It played a central role in finding shortcuts home, monitoring hostile powers and, in time, helping Voyager maintain contact with Starfleet in the Alpha Quadrant.
