A Delta Quadrant people who share a world with the Kyrians and whose shared history centuries later was distorted by a Kyrian museum.
The Vaskans are a humanoid Delta Quadrant species who share their homeworld with the Kyrians, a people with whom they have long been in conflict. In the era long after Voyager's visit, the Vaskans had become the dominant power over the Kyrians.
In Living Witness, set centuries after Voyager passed through, a Kyrian museum depicted Voyager as a brutal warship that had helped the Vaskans wage war. When a backup copy of the Doctor was found and reactivated, he insisted the history was false, and his testimony helped ease the tensions between Vaskans and Kyrians.
