Tedran was a Kyrian leader whose death aboard Voyager became a founding myth of Kyrian history centuries later.
Tedran was a Kyrian who, in Voyager's time, led a group that boarded the ship believing Janeway had formed a military alliance with the Vaskans. During the raid the Kyrians stole a data module that held a backup copy of the Doctor.
In Living Witness, Tedran was revered seven centuries later as a martyr, and a museum exhibit showed him being executed by Janeway. The reactivated Doctor insisted that the account was false and set out to prove who had truly killed Tedran. His findings forced the Kyrians and Vaskans to reexamine their shared history.
