Relentless bounty hunters of the Delta Quadrant, hired to wear down Voyager so that others could exploit its crew.
The Hazari are a species of professional bounty hunters known across the Delta Quadrant for their persistence. A fleet of Hazari ships trapped Voyager and pursued it relentlessly, apparently in search of a lucrative capture.
The pursuit turned out to be arranged by the Think Tank, a group of brilliant beings who offered to solve Voyager's problem in exchange for Seven of Nine. Janeway turned the tables, tricking the Hazari and the Think Tank into fighting each other, in the episode Think Tank.
