An immense spaceborne creature that lured starships into its body by showing each crew the thing they wanted most, then digested them.
The creature was gigantic, large enough to swallow a starship whole. It baited its prey with telepathic illusions, convincing a crew it offered what they desired, and then trapped and dissolved the ship inside it.
In Bliss, it fooled most of Voyager's crew into thinking they had found a way back to the Alpha Quadrant. Seven of Nine, Naomi Wildman and the Doctor were not affected. They joined Qatai, a hunter who had pursued the creature for decades, and freed Voyager by causing it to expel the ship.
