Immense ship of the Voth, a reptilian species descended from Earth's dinosaurs, which swallowed Voyager whole in Distant Origin.
The Voth city ship was an immense vessel of the Voth, a technologically advanced reptilian species of the Delta Quadrant descended from Earth's dinosaurs. It was large enough to swallow smaller ships whole and housed a substantial Voth community.
In Distant Origin, the Voth scientist Gegen abducted Chakotay after deducing that his own people shared an ancestor with humans, and the city ship then swallowed Voyager itself. Gegen's theory contradicted the Voth Doctrine that his people had always lived in the Delta Quadrant, and Minister Odala forced him to recant in exchange for the release of Voyager's crew.
